    Welcome.

P0A93 is the inverter pump. I would definitely not drive it like that. Here's more info on that:
Prius Code P0A93: Inverter Water Pump Failure - Luscious Garage | Hybrid Specialists

P2103, I think is a stuck throttle body, which I would try cleaning.

I think the others are all communications faults.

It may just be a low 12V battery. I'd have that checked, but also, to be safe, put the car in READY mode and look inside the inverter coolant reservoir to make sure there is movement of the fluid in there. You should see some swirling action on the surface. But with all those communications faults, the P0A93 and P2103 are likely to be false alarms. At least I hope so. Others will more experience will be here soon to help out if I'm mistaken.

What year is the car? How many miles? Has the 12v battery ever been changed? If you are not the original owner and have not changed the battery, how long have you owned it?

    Welcome to Prius Chat (y).

    Some questions:
    • How many miles on your Prius?
    • How long have the lights been on?
    • Does the car stop at all after running for a bit?
    • Is there turbulence in the inverter reservoir?
    • How old is the 12 volt battery?
    • What does the 12 volt read after being off for the night the next morning?
Good luck and keep us posted (y).

12volt battary has a good reading.
I bought car 2 years ago
Lights came on last night and disappeared about 20 mins ago today. Had it scanned again and the same code is still there. No more red light though.
-cant tell if there is turbulence. Wont it be hard to accurately tell this way? Since it is electrical?

12volt battary has a good reading but i drove it to Auto zone. Not first thing in morning.

When you ask if the car stops aftwr running for a while, do you mean completely turn off? The car runs fine. Nothing un normal.

When i called dealership about the pump recall she told me it had already been retrieved in 2013.

first question someone might ask is, what defines a 'good' 12v?

when you look in the reservoir, the fluid is either moving, or it isn't

The car has be running though. On ready like ray said. It’s the clear reservoir on the top of the engine, should have pink fluid in it. If you take the cap off while the car is turned on (ready) you should see it move. Autozone can’t really scan the codes very well. You need someone with Techstream to do it. You want to check the battery voltage under the hood with everything turned off at the points you would jump start the car from. If you don’t know where that is it shows you in the owners manual. Let the car sit for an hour or two. Hopefully you have a multimeter.

Took it to a shop for a real diagnostic. Those are the codes he gave me. He tested the battery and printed the receipt that showed was fully charged. He said its hard to check with a prius if its the pump by checking the resivor because its electrical, it doesn’t always come on right away like a regular engine. He recommended to replace the pump and then see if that fixed the issue. Whats weird though, is how when i drove it to his shop all the warning lights on the dash board completely disappeared, but when he scanned it, it was still pulling the water pump code. Why do you think that is?

Even with an electrical water pump?

When the recepit he prints out says...
    Good Battary.
    Volts- 12.74
    Measured 399 CCA
    Rating 325 CCA

When you run water in the sink or tub, does it swirl? It's being pumped by an electric pump. It doesn't matter if powered by gas, steam, or cold fusion, it's still a pump and pumps move fluid, not electricity. If the car is in READY, the pump starts immediately and you can remove the cap on the inverter coolant tank and look inside to see if it's moving. It takes about five seconds to do this. It won't be boiling like Niagara Falls, but there will be movement if the pump is pumping.

Based on the codes, and the fact that you don't get any lights till after it's run for a while, I would expect you to actually have another failed coolant pump. It's one of the more common failures on the Prius and not a very big deal to fix.

What shop did you take it to?

I’d find another mechanic as his understanding of electronics and mechanical components leaves something to be desired:cool:.

But if you replace the pump you’ll get it sorted :).

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Yes, that pump runs continuously when the car is in the ready state. Does not matter if the gas engine is Running or not. It cools the inverter and that is always on in the ready mode.

Thank you for this info. I was under the impression that their were 2 fuel pumps. One for the electrical Hybrid engine and one for the regular engine. Was thinking the Hybrid one would only pump while using that engine. Guess i was way off. Im getting the pump changed. :)

Just a brief explanation to help you understand what you have. There are lots of great write-ups and videos that explain more fully.

The Prius is a hybrid. The name means just what it means in nature -- a blending of two varieties. It has an internal combustion engine similar to what your grand dad's Buick had, but with some important differences to make it clean and efficient. And it has an electric motor to assist the ICE when needed, which is most of the time. There is no "hybrid engine and regular engine;" there's a hybrid system. The hybrid system has a lot more parts to it that are incredibly brilliant, but those are the stars of the show. This animation explains it well, although it get's deep sometimes.
