    Hope so (y).

I candidly refer to my garage as my shop, so you can like the wife know that for approval (y).

Hi! My job send me to eight countries last year. I checked my status with Marriott at year’s end: 41 nights in Marriott alone in 2018.

I’ll try to come up with a Saturday or Sunday soon, but you’ve seen my place, and we’ll be slaves to the weather. We’ll have to decide the day before if the weather will be good enough.

    That’s a lot of countries:cool:.

I’m pretty sure next weekend is out for me.

Her grandmother had a heart attack and we are between the house and the hospital as there were some other things they found :(.

But after Tuesday (her current discharge date) I should have a better idea of availability ;).

    We’ll figure this out (y).

I don’t think so. A set of iridium plugs runs about $40.
It takes about two hours to remove and replace all the the stuff for the rodent block/spark plug change. Once that’s done, the plugs take 10-15 mins to install. I don’t think it’s worth waiting just to get another $10 of lifetime from your plugs.

If you watch the NutzAboutBolts YouTube video of the Prius spark plug change, you’ll understand. The spark plug replacement is a monstrous job by itself.

Our calendar isn’t up to date, but I know @Xterra72 was looking to get the egr circuit cleanse done and he’s down in the South Bay, so those dates might work:).

Let’s see what others have to say:whistle:.

Would you have2 bays available in your garage?

Hope recovery goes well for her, and things gets back to normal for you.;)

It will be great to meet up at Rebound's in Fremont, as it is approximately 15-20 miles from me, but longer drive for a few other members. Sunday the 20th or 27th seems fine, as the 13th doesn't work out for me either.:p

I would definitely love to meet and check out @Xterra72 's mods on his Prius, and see how @grid like his LED headlights.

And was it @Rebound who has a really clean engine bay?

He’s the hose sprayer of the engine bay:cool:.

Mine doesn’t get that treatment ;).

You ever do a coilover install in your previous life ?

I figured a “retired” racer might have some experience with em(y).

    Thanks(y).

She was supposed to be out Friday, but she had several bleeding ulcers that will turn this into Tuesday or Wednesday:cool:.

But at 89 this experience has offered her inspiration to improve certain things to avoid the hospital in the future;).

Experience can be a powerful deterrent (y).

Hi guys! Long time lurker and so grateful to have you as a resource. Have a 2012 Prius V (wagon) that has been getting some bad mileage lately. Last few tanks have been mid to high 30s, far off the old mileage. With 149k miles I know I'm overdue for the dreaded intake manifold, EGR valve and PCV valve cleaning. I did the sparkplugs around 90k miles, so I may as well do spark plugs also.

If you're down for a service day I can offer my garage, in Morgan Hill. Fully equipped with tools and air compressor. 2 car garage with lots of space if I move the kids' toys out of the way.

I'm out of town at the end of the month, but happy to host before or after.

These are the three valuable videos that I'm referencing. (Special thanks to NutzaboutBoltz, I owe you a pizza and beer.)

Let me know if you're interested in a service day. Would love the help and help anybody else with the same job at the same time.
