The Entune Advanced Apps, other than the Charger Maintenance, seem to be essentially unusable. For me, the Vehicle Finder would be nice if it actually would at least consistently open. Once or twice I managed to see my parked car on the graphic, and the it said at 400 feet turn left but provided no further response. Has anyone had any luck with Vehicle Finder?

    Thank you for any help.

I use the remote climate control and vehicle finder and the charge maintenance. The vehicle finder works fine for me. I have used it to find the car in mall parking lots, and to help my "navigationally-challenged" wife if she gets lost while driving my car. In the latter case, one has to refresh the car location info by using the "refresh" icon on the charge management screen. The car does not maintain a continuous connection with the server that the app connects to; the server only has the location of the car from the last time the car "called in" its location", like when you turn off the car, or when you have explicitly asked for a refresh from the app (and thus the server places a data call to the cell phone in the car).

I have an Android phone, if that makes any difference.

I used the vehicle finder for the first time (owned the car for over a year) a week before Christmas in the Walmart parking lot. The entire thing was jammed pack with people circling for a car. I was switching cars with my wife and wasn't entirely sure where the Prius was parked (I lucked out and got one way up front for her so she didn't have any searching to do). Not only did it show me where I was parked, but it actually had the lanes for the parking lot on the map and showed me which lane I needed to walk down to get to the car. I was actually pretty amazed at that especially since the Walmart was in Glasgow, KY which happens to be the poorest city in all of Kentucky (which is saying something) so the odds of someone having a car that has that capability anywhere near Glasgow is vanishingly small compared to most other places in the US.

but that was also the only time I ever used it... and may be so again until next Christmas... maybe...

Does the 2017 Prime Advanced support the Vehicle Finder feature? A Safety Connect representative just told me on the phone that the car does not support it, and when I went to try it myself it gave me an error "No vehicle location". Does the Prime Advanced 2017 support it or not?

I just use a free app called "Find My Car." It'll work with any car I drive.

I use the key fob to lock/unlock and make the parking lights flash. Worst case hit the panic button and follow the noise.

I guess I needed to start and stop the vehicle one more time. It works now.
