Wireless CarPlay

    I see the rebooted Toyota Supra (2020) will have Wirless CarPlay but only as part of a $4K Premium Package.
    Speculating if it comes to the 2020 Prime it may be limited to the Advanced featureset only.

    the 2019 model came out with no difference but colour the same shade of other colors, maybe there working on retrofitting or adding carplay?

    REMEMBER that is a BMW System who know if Toyota and BMW are still working together after the supra project

    It’s most likely a BMW system so don’t expect it to come to other Toyota products. BMW is the only manufacturer to offer wireless CarPlay. Keep in mind that it’s also the only manufacturer to charge a subscription for CarPlay - yep, first 3 or 4 years are free then you have to pay for it afterwards.

    That’s their idea. The cost of the monthly subscription is cheaper than the one-time cost but only if you lease.
