Will these work? I'm guessing these are afs. Can the afs hardware be stripped away to fit into our non-afs Prius?

I went with Morimorto Elite HId kit from the retro source. $146 for an HID kit compared with $450 for a retrofit HID option. Cheaper way of running HIDs and a great start! The light output is amazing.

I came to a pass with the Lexus AFS projectors because they are bulkier, have a different wiring setup and more moving parts. I couldn't find any info on how the afs system is powered and if it needs signals from the steering wheel to operate. I will probably buy one and play with it on the bench.

awesome! Thanks for the update. I had opt7 hids for a few years. we're the only ones that wouldn't flicker but weren't very bright. what temperature did u go with? my old ones were 6k kinda blue , I want something closer to halogen, 4300 maybe 5k.

    PH-1 ?

I went with 5500k knowing the 50w ballast reduces the kelvins to 4500k.

    Driving and posting? :p

Lexus Non-aFs is a direct drop in replacement. Afs has the corresponding hardware.

Are you trying to say if you strip the afs hardware away, the mounting holes don't match up?
