i do not have good days and bad days, more like good hours and bad hours! But hope springs eternal.

I was very reluctant, but based on advice of my physical therapist and three separate registered nurses at the nursing home, my husband's DOCTOR and numerous friends and relatives, I just started using CBD OIL.

I just started last night and don't really think I am seeing results yet ,but will continue for a week or so. It does not create a "high," so that is why I agreed to try it.

i was reading about this recently. the problem with a lot of 'natural remedies' is that there is little to no testing.
i hope it works for you kris, sorry you are going through this.

Only serious studies I know about CBD relate to epilepsy. Other uses are "off-lable" (it's an actual technical term). Even at a distance such studies shed light on side effects and negative interactions with other medications. At least as tested in epileptic populations.

Seem to be several less rigorous examinations of CBD vs. pain, and many anecdotes. In this particular case I would ask for reporting on effectiveness. One never knows when another PriusChatter will undergo partial disassembly.

Entirely off topic, the list of 'medical' responses to epilepsy is more or less horrifying.

I think the Gen 2 is the easiest car I've ever had to get into and out of. Besides being low to the ground, it has plenty of leg and head room. There is also a grip handle directly above the window for support (all 4 doors).

An obvious yet unmentioned contrast here relates to opioids.

I'm surprised that nobody has suggested it before, but consider getting an Uber/Lyft (as much as I hate them for various reasons) instead of the medical transport.

You probably would not be surprised to find out that Americans are actually turning to rideshares over ambulances as a way to control their healthcare spending: More people choosing Uber for a hospital ride over an ambulance: study - CBS News

While looking for a source for my suggestion, I also learned that Uber has a healthcare initiative: Introducing Uber Health | Cost-efficient, reliable transportation for patients

Remember seeing an ad for a prescription med for opioid induced constipation.

yeah, if it's bad enough, down she goes. that might be for people whose surgeries require bed rest.

Transported wife with new knee 2 days after surgery but she didn't have any restriction on hip range of motion. Experiment at the rehab with height of seat as we found that made a difference which car I choose to drive her in. I thought high seat but turned out low was better. My memory she just sprawled on the back seat with pillows. What vehicles do your friends drive?

That would certainly more profitable than non-prescription remedies, at least in the U.S.

Better for the patient? Does that matter at all?
