    Hellow guys.
bought prius 2008 some 5 months ago Soon check engine light and master warning(red triangle) becomes On. (code P016)
The lights are still on despite engine flush and hybrid battery defected cells replaced.
some days earlier brake light started to appear on and off along with momentary flashing of zigzag road indication.Thishappens usually when hybrid battery shows full charge and vehicle is running on battery, same time, engine starts or not, braking action happen itself and car driving is not remain smooth but like some one is pushing throttle and removing again and again or like brakes are applying and releasing.

Yesterday i parked car in a way it was tilted, just like roll, for about 15minutes when started brake was very hard not pressing and not working along with ABS indication and constsnt beep sound. i then parked car in tilted posotion opposite to ealier position. after 2minutes i started the car abs indication and beep goes off, brakes were working though yellow brake light was on. I then drive 7km and came to home.
Plz guide me what to do. tomorrow i will go to a mechanic but here in Pakistan every mechanic say i know all but in actual they know very little (as far as hybrid vehicles are concerned). The way of diagnosis is fine, scanner, but the solution is....
solution is change the sensor first, which is sensing some abnormality.if problem not fixed change the parts by hit and trial.
So i am worried, I want to guide my mechanic, instead he do hit and trial job.

I will warmly welcome your valueable suggestions and comments, please reply as soon as possible.

I will share scanned codes as i will see.
    Regards

    Welcome to PriusChat!!

Please post any OBD2 codes that were read with a hybrid compatible code scanner; you might need a mini-vci cable and techstream.

The C1341 is a specific code for a problem controlling pressure in the front right brake line, completely analogous to another recent poster's C1343 (only that code is for right rear instead), so you can see that thread for what that's all about.

But the other three codes all point to issues in your ABS actuator itself (some of them to the accumulator and pump, but in Gen 2 those parts are all in one assembly, so there are no hard decisions about what to replace). I would pursue that, and find out whether that ends up resolving the C1341 as well.

well. it looks replacing ABS assembly might fix the problem. I also changed engine CAM with its governor for P0016 fault. it looks better too so far.
What is new thing is meter and all indication lights are completely off.

Read through this thread and in particular the last 3 or so pages has information on how to repair, if it turns out your CM has the problem.

Read through this thread to get a better idea of what to expect, as there are pictures/videos and tips. It may be possible to replace just one, otherwise a small handful if you are looking to do a thorough repair.

Guidance is possible, please post any current OBD2 codes.
If the HV battery discharges enough, then you will no longer be able to turn over the engine to start the vehicle.
Do you still have OBD2 codes after 'replacing ABS assembly' ?
