Sorry dude didn't notice you are also from New Zealand. I bought it from Supercheap Auto, there are only one or two brands of air conditioner cleaner at their shops, I don't remember the name sorry. Repco doesn't even have this kind of thing.

No worries. That is interesting, I searched their catalogue previously and it never turned up anything.

Do you remember the name or brand of the product by any chance. You wouldn’t have a photo of it?

That SupercheaP Auto website is a pig to find anything on. Against all odds, I did find this:

    Valvoline Air Con Cleaner 141g.jpg
Valvoline Air Con Cleaner - 141g

    Is that what you used?

There were some Meguiar's ones, but they were just interior air freshener bombs that you set off inside the car and leave for 15 min – not what I'm after.

Finally got around to asking Toyota about the A/C evaporator cleaning system mentioned earlier. Short story, not available. Couldn't even find any information or reference to it in their system. After I described the product a bit more, he said that he didn't even think they had ever had anything like that in the NZ market. So, I continue my quest.

Thanks, you're a trooper. That is half the job.

I'm still looking for the cleaning foam that is sprayed in to clean/sanitise the evaporator that is applied via the evaporator drain tube. The one that is equivalent to the Toyota A/C Power Foam Evaporator Cleaner and Refresher.

Yes, this is what I used. but instead, I wouldn't spray it via the intake vent underneath windshield. I'd do it by taking out the air conditioner filter and putting an extended tube on the can then spray it straight into the blower, as this product doesn't come with the extended tube you will need to get one or make one yourself.
