You may be right. I am not using Adblocker per se but installed custom 'host' file from:
Using a Hosts File To Make The Internet Not Suck (as much)
to restrict some of the bad stuff.

I have decided to skip the first free Toyota oil change at 10,000 miles and will do it myself. I did one at 5,000 and plan on doing them at 5,000 from now on. Looks like the only thing they do extra other than rotating the tires is fluid checks. My tires will be coming off in a couple of months and I will install my summer wheels at that time anyway. Being retired I still don't have time to sit around at the dealership all day. The last time I did that I bought a new car.:)

I know the oil filter wrench I use on our 2010 Prius works on the 2017 Lexus RX450h that is also in the stable:).

So probably true for other models(y).

    Will your warranty still stand?

    I don't care.

I never had my Gen 2 serviced by the dealer except warranty work and recalls.

Does the warranty state the car has to be serviced by them, I don't normally read warranties.

I don't think so, and I've read there are laws expressly against that: you're entitled to work on the car. That said, it comes with a few caveats, about you're needing to be reasonably competent, and I'm sure if you screw something up they'd be inclined to return the favour.

Still, when I mentioned to our dealership they just said to keep all receipts. I'd say also keep a decent log, of the date, the mileage, and what you did, any observations/measurements. It's for your benefit at least as much as warranty protection, to keep track of what you did.

I can recall years back, I let the dealership do the timing belt replacement on one of our Accords (I know my limits), and a year or two later, I was checking the valve clearance: noticed the timing belt was frayed and there was a lot of fibrous material accumulating.

When I brought it to their attention, they were really determined to pin it on me, kept asking if I'd done something to the belt. It was in their records that they'd changed it. They found a tensioner of some sort, maybe a spring, laying loose at the bottom of the timing belt cavity. It was their screw-up, but they weren't nice about it, kept trying to pin it on me, which was bs.

In a situation like that, where you're working on the car and they are too, and there's an overlap and some questions, if there's ever a problem: just be candid with them, explain what you've done and haven't done, don't loose your cool.
