Toyota needs to get their act together regarding everything "Prius". Hire some Italian body designers. Weird is not better.

Where is Apple CarPlay? No excuse. It's 2019!!

Who are the people running this company that there is so little common sense and understanding of what Prius should be?

At least the Prius doesn't have that hideous gaping maw of a front end from which the Corolla and Yaris are suffering. . .

Maybe next year. These companies have it all planned out, year to year, on what minor upgrade they can dole out. It's amazing they believe a minor more conservative look for the Prius exterior would have an increased sales effect. No vision. They went from bold and ugly to conservative and ugly. Knee jerk reaction when sales went to heck because of a styling snafu. Does it cost more to design and create an attractive car? Absolutely not.

Meanwhile,Tesla Model 3 is selling well and scaring the heck out of every manufacturer. Somehow, they get away without offering AM radio reception.

And pickups and SUV sales are the land of great profit.

The world is a funny place.

That picture is fake. You can't get any 2019 Prius trim with 17" wheels AND foglights. I was just seriously considering an end of year model 2019 Limited which has the 17" wheels standard only to find out there are no fog lights available.

Pretty sure the fog lights are still just ornamental, you can hardly tell if they're on, without looking at the dash. That said, they're purdy. :)

And the black plastic blanks in lieu are like punishment...

Err. Note the language lol. Just because it’s not available in the US, doesn’t mean it isn’t available elsewhere in the world. (I believe that’s a Finnish-spec Prius in that photo)

Yes, and one more interesting thing about EU, you can have a sunroof for free, but then you get 15" aloys. For me defenetly a better choice.

Thats because the sunroof weighs more than the 17"s can handle isnt it?

I notice in both the AUS and NO versions still get the black vertical plastic pieces. In North America, AWD-e versions get a silver piece with a vertical LED light.

I think the issue is having both moonroof and 17" alloys for weight classification purposes.

The DRLs look insignificant compared with the 2016:

    Huh....

Yeah over here, we must have some sort of minimum lumens because the low beam at reduced intensity is our DRLs both pre-facelift and current. (and same on the Prime and Corolla and last gen RAV4 2016-2018)

This is why you can get $7500+ off a brand new 2019 limited. Between the dealer $2750 factory incentives + the dealer discounts.

The trim offerings in the US are messed up.

    No Limited + Fogs.
No Limited + Moonroof without deleting 17" wheels.

    No Limited + AWD-e period.

    Why isn't there a limited + AWD-e + moonroof + 17" wheels + foglights?

I thin the reason is EPA rating.

    Finally! Sweet!

He's in Australia. Outside of US and Canada, their headunits did not have volume and tuning knobs.

I'm waiting for the touch-screen backlash, return to solidly-engineered, tactile controls, that you can operate easily without taking eyes off the road. That was sorted out in another century. I'll probably be waiting in vain.
