My pump gives me free nitrogen too, despite it's only 78% pure.

I get tires at Costco, and the nitrogen fill is usually adulterated within 15 minutes, when I air up a bit more on the way home. Or soon thereafter at home, with my trusty-rusty Schwinn bicycle pump.

I'd second Defenders though, a good all-round pick.

I may yet go with defenders. Hmmm. But they are a lot pricier for the same kind of customer reviews.

I had the "black pantyhose" luggage cover installed on my PRIME for a while until I decided to keep both rear seats folded all the time to increase my cargo space. I don't know what I did with it, it's not in my car any more. it must be folded and stowed somewhere, but I have no idea. lol

You can always use a light blanket or a beach towel for the same purpose, and it is more versatile.

A number of years ago I had a hatchback with no cover. I used a scrap piece of carpet to cover the white boxes I usually carried back there.
Without it, the boxes would reflect in the back window, obscuring it use. I needed to carry stuff in the back for work at that time.

I show Michelin Defenders for $109 at Costco. 80K mile warranty, rating 820 A B. I found them to be a superior tire with great performance and no appreciable mileage difference from Michelin A/S(yes very pricey) or Bridgestones. Remember, you are going to have these for a long time.

Lately we seem to have 2 seasons in one day. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to go from a low of 32F to a high of 68F. o_O

Must have heater in morning and air conditioner in the afternoon kind of a day. My friend who used to live on an island of Dutch Antilles, told me his annual average temp is 80F, high 82F, low 78F. I don't think I can live in place like that ever.

I am originally from Toronto, right on Lake Ontario. the water must moderate the temperatures somewhat. After over 35 years, I am still not comfortable with the spring & fall temperature swings, I guess it is because I am more inland now.

Yeah, I think so. Before moving to NE, I lived in Midwest. There hot summer and cold winter had far bigger swing seasonally and probably daily too. It could get colder than NE in middle of winter but summer is very hot requiring central air. I have not had a need to install central air conditioner in our houses since we moved to NE.

It was to clarify Mendel's editorial??? Mendel is in Vancouver, Jerry is in Florida. A world apart in many ways.

I thought @jerrymildred was looking for tires, but this is getting too close to being on-topic. ;) o_O(y)

I went to school two years near Vancouver. At least during the school year, we only had one season and it consisted of raining and about to rain. I've hear rumors that the sun sometimes shines in the summer.

Here is FL, we have four seasons: Love bug season, not love bug season, love bug season #2, and another not love bug season. I suspect that if everyone up north knew about love bugs, the human population of FL would be under a dozen.

    Did the above help? :D

Actually, I am looking for all season. I'll check on Costco soon. So far, Toyota has the best price on just the tires. I need to see how much with just the mounting and balancing. And bang for the buck, the Yokohamas are winning in my research. The Michelins may be slightly better, but they're almost 50% more money.
