Who can we believe these days?!

Tata Motors was able to turn around Jag, Range Rover and makes a decent car/SUV now. So would I buy one? Yes!

    Hope you have deep pockets!

Have you heard the Chinese now own it!

Yes, but only ever revived the MG name - and put it mainly on small SUVs.

It is an AC charger with the voltage and current characteristics of an L2 charger. But it has a Tesla-style connector instead of a J1772 connector.

plus, it can pump out nearly 20kW's - if your plugin can handle it. For the plugins that take that much? That's nearly a mile a minute refill. Not that anyone crossing the wasteland of the central Australia outback would ever care, because, well .... nobody in their right mind does that drive anyway, except maybe the road warrior. Eventually - even he will go all electric.

Tesla's are ridiculously expensive in Australia, hence the few Tesla's, hence the few Superchargers.

You mean like the Laguna Ritz-Carlton? The dozens around Disney? Park City Utah ski resort? San Diego Zoo hotels? You tally up some of these places, & you have a population bigger than some of the less populated states.

that's the nice thing about massive auto manuals nowadays. Many are a simple Adobe doc. Ctrl 'F' to find whatever you want. Type in your search word .... boom shakalaka. No need to even bother looking at boilerplate

Source: Tesla Q1 2019 Sales Report: Deliveries Off 31 Percent

    Tesla Q1 2019 Vehicle Production & Deliveries
PALO ALTO, Calif., April 03, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In the first quarter, we produced approximately 77,100 total vehicles, consisting of 62,950 Model 3 and 14,150 Model S and X.

Deliveries were approximately 63,000 vehicles, which was 110% more than the same quarter last year, but 31% less than last quarter. This included approximately 50,900 Model 3 and 12,100 Model S and X.

Due to a massive increase in deliveries in Europe and China, which at times exceeded 5x that of prior peak delivery levels, and many challenges encountered for the first time, we had only delivered half of the entire quarter’s numbers by March 21, ten days before end of quarter. This caused a large number of vehicle deliveries to shift to the second quarter. At the end of the first quarter, approximately 10,600 vehicles were in transit to customers globally.

Because of the lower than expected delivery volumes and several pricing adjustments, we expect Q1 net income to be negatively impacted. Even so, we ended the quarter with sufficient cash on hand.

deliveries were 63K more than 10% (7K) below inside ev estimates. This is a bad number but we won't know how bad until commentary in may. Tesla looks to greatly outpace deliveries of 2018 but growth may be disapointing because of high expectations. Its hard to know if this is a production or a demand problem until Q3.

i'm more disappointed by wall street and the media, than i am by tesla.

in fact, i'm not disappointed in tesla at all. they have made amazing strides, and likely will continue to do so.
every day they remain in business must be a painful reminder to their detractors

um - a 'drop' in sales is far from being the same thing as a loss? if you rob ½ of a company's business, then next quarter only robbed ¼ of their business, it's still a success, especially when the other business is still not taking your business . but I'm sure the shorter's already know that.
And that's why CNN is the king of spin.
    If I may be so bold as to speak for Seeking Alpha off the record - as they regularly find it important to give their opinion of Tesla's value;

    " Mothe# F¥×^€ Tesla C0¢€ $£@% !!! "
