Great! It matches your car color perfectly. Did you also do rear seats and cargo mat?

Now you need to change your profile to your new PRIME.;)

I think you are probably right about the challenge of keeping them clean.
My concern about any homemade automobile mat project would ultimately be safety. No sliding, no possible binding under a pedal..etc, etc...
That's why I like expensive commercial mats designed for the vehicle precisely.
Too many stories about mats and accidents.

Now that I have rained on the parade.....
    They look great.

    I hope they are safe.
I hope you can keep them clean.

Thanks for the input especially re: safety. I live in San Diego...maybe 8 years ago there was a horrible accident here that killed a family in a Lexus...the culprit was indeed the drivers side floor mat...it did lock down the accelerator pedal and they lost control of the car. I will keep my eye on it....the way it's shaped with the big curve on the left side it seems like it would physically prevent movement of the mat. I did follow the exact lines of the original mat which has no material in the accelerator pedal area. Also I do recall that the car is designed to shut off by long pressing the Start/Stop button but let's hope it never comes to that!!

My opinion - they are cute but an accident waiting to happen. What is holding them in place so they can't migrate up under the pedals?

Grommets to use the mat hooks already in the car? At least that is what my Gen 4 has.

If you talk to @The Critic , my weekend project is external detailing:).

But Easter weekend might not be the best time for that as 30+ are set to invade on Saturday .

We got the rubber mats with our Prime, so home made mats will be shelved until the rubber wears out;).

But as long as the mats lock down to the fasteners, they match well(y).

It would make our Prime stand out even more :).

One of the wife’s friends calls it the “electric blueberry”:ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:.

So maybe additional accessorization could work(y).
