Wasn't a fan of the 4 button replacement shifters with various brand names I saw coming out of Japan until I saw this one. The choked on the $400+ price.

Finally found one and I think the only one I could get shipped direct from Japan for 21,800 yen. Yeah still almost 2 bills but damn does it look nice.

Love it and if you can get one. I recommend :)

Just wanted to share. Oh and thank goodness to Google translate or I'd be googling the instructions. IMG_20190415_210916_HDR.jpeg IMG_20190415_210955_HDR.jpeg IMG_20190415_212335937.jpeg

it wouldn't fit in the prime shift area, but maybe they have or are making one.

    How difficult was the installation?

Where did you get it for that price?

I have the C-West shifter installed, but I'd switch in a heartbeat for that price. ($195 US). The OGS switch is much nicer looking.

If the OGS switch is anything like the C-West, it takes about 15 minutes for the installation, and the majority of that time is getting the OEM shifter out. Plug in the wires, put the panels back, and you're done.

C-West Electronic Shift Switch Blue Toyota Prius 10-14

Switching from the C-West to the OGS should take less than five minutes.

Installation tip: Do not ever turn the car on before the switch is completely installed. The panic I felt as error codes started to show up... just don't.

At 200 I’d go for that.

I got it from a seller on Croooober.
It was the last one of course. But would be worth watching off and on. That's how I found this one.
Croooober Japan: Online Marketplace for Used JDM Wheels & Auto Parts

I used to see it listed on a usa site for 400ish bucks but not anymore. After deciding I'm going to get one.. all I could find was the standard 4 button ones you always see. Then I came across this one on a Croooober search and couldn't buy it quick enough. Took 6 days to arrive via FedEx.

They have a great looking set of wheels I’d like to have, but 561 shipping to the US is out of my price range.

Agreed -- much better looking. I could not find it anywhere at any price.

Pop off the dash piece. 8 seconds. 3 nuts to remove old shifter. One wire harness. Snap that one into hole of old shifter. Plug in harness. Snap trim back in place. Installed :) really easy.

That listing seems to have ended. Try this:
Sell Japan OGS Active Position AP Switch Fit Toyota Prius ZVW30 PHV ZVW35 Silver motorcycle in Pomona, California, United States, for US $409.90

I am completely clueless on how to import something directly from Japan. It looks like there's some interest in getting at least a few of these, though, if the price isn't outrageous. I know some folks here do this all the time. Can anyone help?

If you can't find a shipper that ships direct like I did with Croooober. You need to use a remailer service in Japan. Blackship and tenso are bigger ones I see advertised. They give you a Japan address to ship to. They will rebox and ship to you for a fee.

I have no idea why it's so difficult to ship to USA from Japan. China they happily toss it in a box and ship via a skateboard with oars and 40 days later it shows up. Lol. But seriously sucks you need a remailing service for most online markets in Japan.

There is an enormous amount of ZVW30 stuff on that site. I found a nice looking set of wheels for 87 dollars, but 563 shipping to get them here. Still a good deal, but out of my price range.

Mine arrived today. I am pleased with this one. It’s the RHD version, but I like it.
