One valuable role played by mojo here was to keep track of 'alternative'' climate websites and report when something juicy appeared. There are too many for me to follow. One that I do follow is Roy Spencer's, whose renown extends far beyond Alabama Anyway, I already knew that Spencer had a faked Time Magazine cover, purporting to highlight coming ice age, from 1977. In a weird way it increases my respect for the man for not concealing his error. But it's hard to over-extend that admiration. It was originally posted in 2013 October, having been publicly outed as a hoax in 2013 June. Surprised it 'survives'. Just sayin'
