Average MPG screwed up

    My average MPG calculation is all screwed up. Three fillips in a row I averaged 47ish now the dumb thing jumps all around going as high as 65 average mpg. On the “consumption” screen.

    What gives? And can it be recalibrated?

    How many miles out of a tankful for each fill up? Are you driving in a hilly area, or it’s flat ground everywhere?
    Driving style: does it differ?
    Did you have a cargo carrier box on top of the vehicle at some point?
    How many passengers on board during these journeys....or did you have heavy cargo on board? Stop go traffic or point to point non-stop?
    Were you driving against heavy winds of driving with the wind behind you?
    Were you descending a mountain range when you got 65mpg?
    What year is your vehicle, and what model of Prius?
