I was driving my car about a month ago and these lights popped on. I pulled off the freeway and parked at the gas station for about an hour. My car turned on and ran just fine. I didnt have alot of money so said a prayer and started the 1:30min drive home. The car drove fine and nothing seemed out of wack. I got home and realized i was about a few weeks overdue for oil change and then i realized that my coolant ..was super low almost non existent. So i went and got all tjat fixed said there was nothing wrong.? The lights went off about 4 days later i was driving too and from work about 5min each way. Again nothing seemed out of wack. Yesterday i packed my car and headed to LA. Not even 10 full minites into the trip the lights popped up again! Im so confused . wjay1 should my next step be.

Thanks! Does anyone know about how much a diagnosis cost at a dealership. I'll go some time this week! I have a 2009 prius with 185000 miles on her

Dealer diagnostic fee in my woods is $125.

Bad news is your right in the mileage neighborhood for a failed or failing hybrid battery. You have alot of reading to do. Use the SEARCH FORUMS listing up top. Its in blue. Click that then search:

    hybrid battery

If you go to the dealer and pay this diag fee make sure you get the codes they pulled in writing including there subset. All the codes.

In the future start your own thread instead of tagging an 8 year old thread. You will get much more reply's and it will be much easier for you to track your thread down the road. Its confusing as hell when someone hijacks a thread.
