    Hi guys,
I just have noticed that Toyota has pumped up the MSRP price of the hybrid battery (G951047031) from $1950 to $3300. Did anyone notice that or is that true?

G951047031 - Battery assembly, hv supply. Electrical, wiring, cable - Genuine Toyota Part

However, I still see some dealers are posting the old MSRP price

Toyota Prius Battery assembly, hv supply. Local pickup only!! we cannot ship this item - G951047031 | Toyota Marin, San Rafael CA

Do you guys think I can still get the battery at the old price or is that something wrong online?

    Thanks

I just called the TOYOTA dealer, they told me the $3300.00 is including the core charge...

So once you take off the core charge, the price goes back to about $1950.00

***It's confusing, looks like TOYOTA updated some of their web pages showing the new $3300 price tag, without any info on the core charge discount.

I’m pretty sure it’s the way the new website works. Since you pay for the parts when you order them they had to include the 1350 core deposit in the price. Too bad they don’t explain that on the page.
1950 means the price is going up. It was less than that last month.
