2018 Prius Four (new) vs 2019 Prius XLE AWD

    Thank you so much for all that information!!! I drove the Hyundai Ionic for the 3rd time today (plug in) - it just doesn't feel right :(. My car before the 2017 advanced was the 2010 Prius 4 ... should have kept it LOL ... it was a 5 seater with over 150000 miles........ really wish I didn't have to do this ...... I believe your so right about the resale value...... what do you think of the Nissan Leaf?

    When I went to test drive Clarity I also test drove Nissan Leaf. Side by side comparison, Leaf is much smaller. Yes, it is a hatchback but that hatch is so small I don't know if it is very useful. In addition to the small cargo size, the ride comfort, handling, roominess, interior finishes quality, Leaf felt so much less compared to Clarity. Yes, it is one of more affordable BEV on the market, but with the range it provides, I just did not see it was worth for the price tag. Both Clarity and Leaf were MSRP ~$36K.

    How long ago? I think there is a new LEAF just released - well, it's said to be coming here in a few months.

    A few months ago. The Leaf I drove was 2018 SL trim with 151miles range. New 2019 Leaf Plus has longer range, but with a substantially higher price tag.

    Well I finally pulled the trigger and traded the 2017 prime advanced for the 2018 Prius 4 gray with moonstone...... so glad the car shopping is done...... boy that white cup holder is something else LOL ...now I know what everyone was talking about - I think I will color it in tonight with sharpie of maybe I will just make it a piece of art!!!!! The car dealer did not like me .... I was brutal with negotiation and even then you never know what the deal really could have been. Thank you everyone for your help with this process :)
