Just saw my first Prius Prime ad on TV! It was during the Colbert Report, May 2, 2019 at 12:03am! I'm still gasping in shock at this "tremendious" event, I mean wow, Toyota, are you guys really still trying to sell that car!!! Har, har, I must have fallen asleep and been dreaming!! And kids, they were offering $2500 off; you're probably thinking that I'm delusional; you're probably right, after all I did buy one of those things! Of course it wasn't because of all this sensational advertising; I just happen to be a car whacko. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
Th Colbert Report? On the Comedy Channel? That’s been off for years? Maybe you mean The Late Show with Stephen Colbert? That’s on CBS. If the former, you were dreaming.
They run ads up here some now that gas is $4 a gallon. But before that it’s all the urban assault vehicles. They’ll get it right eventually .
Cause 'murica!!!! I believe this one comes standard with a gun rack. However, the Prius cow catcher will cost you extra.
I would hate to drive that behemoth every day over 100 miles. Might be fun on the tails if it can fit. The Prius Prime is a perfect commuter car. Since I charge from Solar at home and plugin at work. I have some clients that are near free chargers so that helps also. Back to the thread. My gas was over a month old again. 1600 miles on the last tank. So the pure gas test results will be in after my road trip Friday. Steve
Hey, I've never seen PRIME TV ads or any other Toyota CM. Oh, yeah, that's because I don't have TV provider and do not watch TV except some streaming program via internet. Use to have cable TV, but it got too expensive for simple pass time entertainment.
The latter; I always call it the Colbert Report; my bad! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
I watch CBS/Colbert and other broadcast TV for free using a circa $35 antenna from Target. Dropped cable TV eons ago! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
Yeah, I thought about using an areal antenna for local stations but never acted on it. Even when we had cable TV, we didn't watch local stations that much. Only thing I watched was local news sometimes. I can get most of the local news feed from the internet nowadays.

Way off topic, but there might be a slew of over-the-air digital channels available. I got into DIY antennas (Grey-Hoverman) a while back. The entertainment value of making the antennas and getting them working eclipsed what's on though.
Still off topic, but I got an amplified antenna that I have up in the air about 25-30 feet because the transmitters are 60 miles away. We get a boatload of channels when you include the secondary ones. Good stuff especially if you like the old classics.
