LOL, last night I was only 11.46 miles behind the leader. Even after my morning drive, he/she hung over a hundred miles on me. I'm just a lowly L1 charge person. Besides, I'm not "trying" to add miles just to add miles. Even with our cold temps, I'm up to 32 actual miles per charge. I can't compete with L2 freakazoid people.:p:D j/k

L2 freakazoid, hey now, I resemble that comment, har, har!! I've got to be some kind of nutjob to play silly Eco games!! The end of this month, though, I'll be pushing around this confounded Nissan Versa rental; Lord have mercy on my soul, and I get no credit for those punishing miles!!

Ooops! Our nice 46° temp just dropped to 25° and we have light ice coming down so I'm done for today. Somebody said it's still February.:(

Ice, ice baby. Balmy 24° here with falling ice. It's a skating rink outside. I actually did 28 miles all EV at 4:30am when the "other" fools were not out yet. Prime did fine on the glazed snot. Now, it's 4x4 4Runner the rest of the day. It's taking max heat/defrost just to see with the ice coming down. Definitely not the EV zone today.

Stay safe. Nothing you can do when you lose it on ice. (I looked at our 15 day forecast. No days in the 30s or higher...in March).

Sure there is, hold a VERY tight sphincter.:D And/or hit the gas and spin faster . . . :p

It's a very cold start for March here, but this keeps the trees from budding out so early and getting frozen back when we get that last big freeze about April 15th.

The massive mobs of Robins showed up almost two weeks ago. Each "Spring" we'll have 30-40 show up together and mob every holly berry or fruit on the pear trees in the neighborhood. This is the earliest they've shown up. Not much to eat. Nothing after they come through.

You lucky Primers get to drive your cars and do well in the Eco Wars; me I'm stuck recovering from my recent abdominal adventures, while my poor Prime lies at the car hospital waiting for a reorder of her "bumper cover"! She's supposed to be free and ready to strive for top position after Tuesday!! Damn, and I'm stuck driving this 2018 Nissan Versa Massive Turd rental until then!! Aarrrrgghh! Enjoy your wonderful cars, you lucky Primers; "You don't know what you've got til it's gone!" per my friend Joni Mitchell.

    You'll be back soon.

Yes, I felt very lucky driving in this morning's 10° temps. It's supposed to be 7° by 8am. Wind chill is a balmy minus 14°. Yes, that very cold for us this far south and for the beginning of March to boot. Others have it worse, but they're farther North. Yes, I did my morning "outside" walking before the drive. Goose down wardrobe, by Browning. ;)

I admire you guys, and your character, living in those ridiculous temperatures. I'll stick to being spoiled out here in the land of plenty; I didn't say plenty of what, but you get my innuendo, har, har! It REALLY is so comfortable here, and this year (don't tell ANYONE!) but with the huge amounts of rain and snow, we're sure to be blessed with beautiful wildflower panoramas, and greenery. I'm planning Prime trips in my beautiful state!

No oranges or sheep on my screen. 1,200 mile round trip a quantity of it at gas sucking 70+ MPH. Maybe I can get a sheep with careful driving now that I don't have any long trips planned for some time.

I have no idea what I did but I just checked and I have:
No sun, 2 sheep, 8 oranges, trees in the forest. Eco driving sore 97/100

It's the first of the month and the ECO dashboard automatically resets. A few things carry over from prior month(s), but much of the stuff starts anew.

The ECO dashboard likes you to use zero gasoline. Even a 30 mile trip where you burned gas for the last five miles will bring your effective mpg below 199.9 if you do it early in the month. Driving all EV after that will eventually bring your mpg back up to over 199.9 mpg.

Using a little gasoline later in the month, when you have a lot of EV miles accrued, will have less effect.

I have to make a 25-mile trip, each way, tomorrow. So it's unlikely that you will see my vehicle in the top 100 list this month. C'est la vie.

Then my sheep and oranges will disappear as I too have to make a 25 mile each way trip tomorrow. But it is worth it. 20% off on "drugs" at the health food store which will end up being something like $12 to $15 not paid to the store and about $1.20 paid to the gas station.

Quick trick to get them back. Go to your eco dashboard screen with the tree and refresh your screen 20 times. The first 10 refreshes I got my sun back and the next 10 refreshes I got my rainbow back. Enjoy.

Hmmm, that sounds a bit like "alternative facts". I did my 48 mile round trip. The entire way there was EV and I still had 8+ miles on the gessometer.

I knew I was going to HV most of the way back so I could save some EV for the surface streets and made the mistake of switching to it as I was leaving the parking lot. So OF COURSE the engine is running to warm up the entire time I'm stopped at the lights for the 3/4 mile trip to the interstate. Got off the interstate with 6 miles EV for the surface road part, dropped to 0% on the 50 MPH stretch just before I turned onto our road. But the car decided to do mostly regular EV for the 3/4 miles home, I guess because I was doing 25 MPH. Ended the last trip with 65.2 MPG but only a 70/100 ECO score. Not much one can do on the hilly interstate at speed. Have to make basically the same trip both tomorrow and Saturday. Don't know if I'll keep my sheep but I'm going to run it the same way I did today but will wait until I'm on the interstate onramp to switch to EV on the way back.

Just checked my sheep, they are still there! No oranges though. Not unexpected, and my rank went from 1st to 2,085th.

After a couple of years of 98's and 99% ECO scores, I finally did it. A 100/100 ECO score. Wo hooooo!

Full disclosure, it wasn't done on a jack-stand or just backing out of the driveway, but over an 0.8 of a mile drive on actual real streets in traffic. Now that I know I can do it, I'm going to go for longer distances. Either way, I finally got it done. :D

I think you'll find it hard to do that over any distance but good for you getting it on just under a mile.
