I'll be sharing some mods done to my fiancee's Prius C and hope that information shared here will benefit fellow Aqua/Prius C AKA NHP10 owners.

Details will follow the posts below.

    360 Camera AKA Surround Camera

Able to record on all 4 camera feed onboard storage. It's can also be connected to indicators/signal so when we use the turn signal it will display the camera feed for the side of the turn signal we are activating.

Aids in blind spot when filtering.

When hazard lights are on both side camera feed are displayed to aid in parking parallel lots next to sidewalks to prevent kerbing the rims.

The transition for turn signal is actually in 3D when there will be a 3D car model displayed with rolling wheels.

    Steering Wheel Upgrade.

Shares similar wheel with Prius (30 series)

    Stock
    [IMG]

Upgraded to solid wood steering (Oval shaped)

Drastically improved drive feel due to the weight of the steering as well as the rigidity of the steering wheel compared to stock.

Service transmission with genuine Toyota ATF WS and added Xado AMC Maximum Auto additive to revitalize the transmission

Slight fuel economy improvement and slight reduction in NVH observed.

Xado product has been used by me on many rides with good results.

Scion/Toyota FRS/86 Subaru BRZ Seat Swap

Toyota 86 seats to be mounting in Prius C as they share the same rail mounting. Able to swap rail and stretch one of the mounting points to be a plug in mod. Hardest part is separating the rail from the seats due to limited clearance to clear the wrench and the torque needed to break the bolts.

Have yet to swap them in due to lack of time to transfer the rails.

Custom made side mirrors that are anti glare with ultra wide angle view. Built in sequential LED turn signal in the mirror as well as heater function (Have to retrofit the wirings).

Able to see own ride + car behind and at least 5 lanes on the highway/freeway.

I guess many of you noticed the giant 10.2" Android Headunit that replaced the factory one as I needed a display for the 360 system.

Retrofitted 10.2" Android 8 Core 4GB Ram 32GB rom speedy little thing

Bench testing it in office before installation and making the factory harness to adapt to the player. This gen Prius C doesn't come with a backup signal for reverse camera thus I had to run additional line to the reverse light at the rear.

    One of my favourite mods.

    Changing the horn!

Building the wiring before I connect them to factory harness. No relay used still relatively loud.

Wiring done! A little too long but was worried about the space as they are mounted where the bonnet/hood lock is.

    Original single horn tone.

Upgrade twin horn with factory harness. No relay used.

    Sneak peak.

    Added chassis reinforcement

    3 point side bars x 2
4 point front lower member brace
    4 point center tunnel brace
    2 point rear member brace
    Rear anti roll bar
    Room bar (Rear cabin)
    Rear strut bar
    Front strut bar

    More handling mods to come.

Current suspension isn't that good already a little worn but with these reinforcement and Michelin Pilot Sport 3 it's has became a pretty nice ride.

    Bilstein B14 + Stiff Ring aka Spoon Rigid Collar + 5.6 KG 16*7 et38 rims + Michelin Pilot Sport 4-ST 205/50/16 next!

    Hi Royston!
We have the same radio unit! I love how it just floats out of the surface. That 360 cam is awesome! I was going to fit one as well. Looks really good.

Haha. Original headunit was dull and didn't had a display for my cameras. Did the 360 cam on my own took about 4-5 hours?

    Red Bullet by MaxJen

    Contact person Max

Changed how the car behaves quite significantly.

#1. Throttle engages ICE much quicker behaving more like traditional vehicle
#2. More responsive to throttle input
#3. Pick up to 80 KPH much quicker with much throttle input
    #4. Engine "roars" louder

Will wait for this car to be done with all the handling mods and get it's ride height & alignment dialed correctly before pulling out my high frequency GPS data logger to do some A-B comparison with stock solenoid.

    Installation was an ease!

    Required Tool: 10mm Wrench
    Required Time: 5 minutes

    #1 Undo the solenoid connector
#2 Undo 10mm bolt securing the solenoid to the engine
#3 Twist and wiggle the stock solenoid out of position (With the connector disconnected it will have sufficient clearance without removing airbox)
#4 Insert Red Bullet by entering the solenoid hole vertical and do a 90 degree insert. Clearance is tight but doesn't take much effort.
#5 Twist and wiggle Red Bullet into position and make sure the O ring at the very end sits in with a click
#6. Ensure Red Bullet is fully seated and bolt up the 10mm bolt just with hand tightening will do
#7 Reconnect the solenoid connector to Red Bullet
    #8 Prime the solenoid

The Red bullet just changed response or did it ad HP? It would have to have an impact on fuel economy if the ICE kicks in more often?

Can't comment on horse power as we can't lock Prius C transmission into a fixed ratio thus unable to get it on dyno to verify.

Fuel economy devils in the details. If you are always driving as you are I don't think it would be consuming more because to stay in EV means you don't usually throttle much. As EV mode is sensitive to throttle % as well as the flatness of the road as our rides aren't good at climbing with EV haha.

    Replaced Fuel Filter

Good maintenance habit of changing the fuel filter.

Existing one isn't that bad. 7 years old 53K KM.

The filter on these models are hard to replace. I looked in the manual and no mentioned of it needing a change in the there?
