11 Days with our 4th Prius, this one a Prime Advanced, Red. I am loving it!

There appears to be some changes?
    1. the trip button seem to have added at least one level? something about A/C usage?
    2. I CANNOT find a way to add gas prices anymore, i have for years on my other Prii, but not this one.
I suppose that is OK, my OCD could use a rest, but... i need confirmation, or my OCD will go into rabbit hole overdrive.
930 miles last night, learning to toggle on/off the HV button.... no harm/wear, right? Especially if i try to do it while not under load?

the Electric charge 'hatch' seem to lock/stick sometimes, i push in, and it will not pry open, so i push it back in and quickerly pop it back out...

I toggle the EV / HV button as well and have noticed that it does have a “knock” from time to time:cool:.

So I’ll be adding an oil catch can to ensure there is no damage;).

A trick from the Gen3 that may apply to the Gen4 and Prime. But I have the catch can and will find a mounting place soon(y).

If you put the charging socket cover in it's holder to the right of the charging socket and
then forget to put it back and you try to close the hatch it will half lock. This happened to me
when a friend I was demoing for decided to be helpful and tried to close the hatch before
I replaced the socket cover. It's a real bit*h to get the hatch open when this happens.
You need to remember two things:
    1) Always put the socket cover back before closing the hatch.
    2) If you do forget don't use a lot of force to close the hatch.
These are my personal experiences. Maybe someone knows a secret to getting the
hatch door open when it is "half locked".
I fiddled with a wooden stick (so as to not damage the paint) and flashlight to get it to
pop open by pressing the mechanism open that was preventing the hatch from doing so.
Hopefully there is a better way.

If it could only catch oil:p.

I can tell you the sporacing can I have this time will only catch 4 ounces though;).

But I’ll keep an eye on it before it fills up(y).

You can get 2019 (or any other model year) owner's manual from Toyota Owner site. This is the link for your model 2019 PRIME. According to this, 2019 PRIME has the same 7 display as 2017 PRIME as I indicated above on comment #7.
