Battery started going to red bars and recharging erratically, no driving issues, then RT shows up today and check engine light. Haven't been able to scan yet. It's sitting on the side of the road (son's car).
    Any thoughts, inspiration appreciated!

    Hv Battery sounds bad:(.

But it’s a Dorman, so not outside of expected:cool:.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Moment of truth: Dorman came wth car and is under warranty. What that means, not sure yet... really don't want another refurb. Would rather move to @2k1Toaster replacement, upgrade.

How far is the drive home?

You know you’ll be swapping out things and stuff, so depending on the distance, you could try parking it at home until the kit comes.

Could try disconnecting the 12volt battery then limp her home.

Boy made it home thankfully! Peacefully parked in the pasture. Warranty or not, I don't feel right about another refurb, destined to fail battery in here. I want to give this thing new life! Let the toaster speak!
