Hi. So it seems I'm getting the p0a93 error code. When the main light and check engine comes on the ac will cut out and then after a while of driving it'll come back on. Car always starts up fine too and seems like the pump is working. Not sure what it could be. Any help will be appreciated!

    Welcome to PriusChat!!

These pump don't last forever, how many miles on the vehicle now?

This one is a bit tricky as I also threw p0a93 once on a warm day while 'merging' onto the highway. My pump was also functional, the code never reappeared and went away on its own. Seeing as these electric pumps have the potential to fail, I changed it shortly thereafter.

Why do you not believe what the car is telling you?

    Any help will be appreciated!

Losing the AC is one of the early signs of inverter cooling issues/pump failure. Verify reservoir level. Just because the pump runs, doesn't necessarily mean it's running well enough or consistently. Spend 70 bucks and buy a genuine Toyota pump online. Remove the driver headlight, clamp off the hoses and swap the pump. Bleed out any air, and continue on with a happy life.

Im been getting p0a80 for a little while now but been clearing the code because the car is running fine and the code doesn't come back for a day. Now im getting p0a93. Could this p0a93 be the underlying reason for the p0a80? Car still runs like a dream. Just waiting for parts to get here. Changing all the brakes and pump plus gonna crack the battery open and clean the corroded metal with lots of vinegar.

I've learned to never say anything is impossible, but this is highly unlikely.

Sounds like you're going to have lots of fun. I would recommend not messing with cleaning the wireharness/busbars. Most people are more likely to create more problems than they solve due to damaging the sensor harness tabs when removing the busbars. You would be much better off purchasing a new Wire Frame #2 from Toyota and just replacing the entire thing. This also has the advantage of including a new connector where it attaches to the HV battery ECU, which has been known to have corrosion issues.
