This question was 'touched' on earlier [:)] but not answered to my satisfaction.
I'm still new with our Prime with the large screen. Sometimes, while trying to touch a "button" on the screen, I accidentally touch the map instead. That accidental tap causes a potential Marked place or destination to be created, and the screen locks on that destination. The only way I have found to fix this, is to tap though the full cycle of creating my original destination, again!
Does anyone know a shortcut to cancel a mistaken tap?

I noticed this same thing on my daughters regular 2017 Prius with the medium screen. She also struggles with this.

    thanks!

To get back to normal hit the home "button" on the right side of the screen panel.

HA! It's really just that easy? The other day i had the 'curser' cursor [its a curser alright] bouncing all over the place LOL

I'll try this tomorrow on our several hundred mile trip.

    Thanks!
