The Prius C has a 9.5 gallon tank. Once the beep occurs, you have ~1-1.5 gallons. From my experience it's somewhere in between. I used the google translator to decipher that 1 gallon = 3.78L. That's certainly on the safe side.

Ok we are close, i have 60km to go guys!!!
So i think tomorrow evening will be the filming of the results. Cant hold phone while i gas up, I'll pick up my buddy too film it.
We are going to self serve station. All Taiwanese gas station are full service. Self serve is offered at not so busy locations.

So we can slow fuel after 20l and register the amount on the 1st click!
Its like expecting a birth anticipating the time it will run out and the click is like finding out if you had a girl or boy.

I'm getting excited! And I hope you guys are too!

Is the Prius C Red Bullet compatible with the Gen 3 engine?

    Hi bobzchemist,

Unfortunately they are different and not interchangeable.
The prius C stock number is 15330-21040 and the Prius gen 3 and much of the Lexus line is 15330-37010 in our catalogue. We do carry both if you need, and some have already used it on the Gen 3 with good results.

I hope that answers your question.

The poles are still open, I still have 20km to go. Just got home. Will be doing the fuel up tomorrow for sure!
My average speed is 23 to 24km here in the city. I didn't think it was fair to just get there by driving excessively in one day or in one trip to just get the 901km in.
So one more day to go! Plus i wasn't going to drive for an hour past midnight because i have to go to the lab tomorrow for a whole day.
I guess due to the time difference, the results will be out Friday morning for most! Check back in 24 hours guys.

Well I just drove 40 miles on the light blinking lol. Strangely enough it showed a cruise range of 14 when it first blinked? Anyhow first click on the pump was 9.1G and pumped a but more till 9.3G. Has anyone taken it to the 9.5G mark and beyond lol? I won't do this again unless an emergency next.

We made it! 900.7km the last 0.3km I could do on EV so it wouldn't have a difference.
We are posting the results on YouTube. Please stay tuned. I will link it here. 1558709656447.jpg

Here are the 2 video's. It should have been one connected together but we had some technical difficulties with the phone.

We are having concerns that the pump is not accurate. Cheated us on the volume as always, they are off by around 50 to 100cc each liter.
Because the amount is really too far from what we were all expecting.

    Or

There might be another reason which is the previous fill up was not up to the brim might be a possibility here.
If someone Among Us is very good at math problem solving, please don't hesitate to give us some comments.
Computer says 27.2/l and the calculations from the pump says 25.3km/l. Taking into account of how much fuel we put in according to the pump, we had only half a liter remaining.
This totally does not add-up. But the numbers from the pump does mean we have a winner regardless. Which i think we can agree on its a pretty close one.

    Bobzchemist Congratulations!

Thank you! This was going to have to wait until Christmas otherwise.

For those of you who are curious, the links to buy one of these are:

    Prius C:
Red Bullet VVTI Prius c | eBay

    Gen 4/Gen 3:
Red Bullet VVTI Prius 1.8 (2006-2017) | eBay

I have no connections to MaxJen - I just think this is a cool idea. (Then again, I think mini-vacuum kettles with homogenizers are even cooler ideas, so you have to remember who you're talking to)

Thank you Bobzchemist for the nice words and response!
It was for sure a interesting turn of events!
I think Bob deserves a round of applause, it took a lot of guts to guess that number when everybody was around 34 liters. Bob here, was actually banking on that we will roll into the gas station with the engine banging and cracking.
36l tank and you banked on 35.85l. My good sir!

A big thank you! To everyone who participated and gave valuable feedback! I think we were all on our nerves this past 24 hours.

For PriusChat members who are interested in Prius 1.8l and for the Prius C. You now know where to go!
As always Bob! Please don't feel obligated to do anything after you receive the Red Bullet. Just install it with care and enjoy it! Your feedback, contribution to the forum and just being here with us is more then we can ask for!
    Thank you again for participating!
