Here's how I mounted my catch can. Very easy to remove and clean out. It just sits in the hose. IMG_20190517_073318184_HDR.jpeg

Lol i still have lowering springs and front STB waiting for install. Would that be too time consuming if 2 of these jobs are lined up for one day?:D

I am a newbie, never been to a Prius meetup of this sort. I would like to see what others do to their cars and I could use a hands on explanation of how to use the OBDII meter that I have to maybe trouble shoot lower mileage I'm getting lately.

In answer to the question about June 8th in Lafayette; that works for me. Thanks.

The only issue with installing lowering springs is the lack of a spring compressor. I have one at the shop, but that would require removing the strut assemblies from your car and driving across town to my shop to swap the springs.

Unless you want to use the infamous "suicide sticks?"

Those have a ton of potential energy stored, so that’s one job I shy away from unless the right tool is there too. Russian roulette is not one of my favorite past times either(y).

spring compressor.jpg Actually I bought the el cheapo spring compressor from eBay (suicide stick) thinking to get this done at my friend's driveway (of course, been procrastinating for 6 months LOL), hopefully that reduces the risk of the coil spring flying to the moon? :ROFLMAO:

Never use air tools on these tools! And apply grease or antiseize. Hand tools only!

That image, is funny as hack:LOL:, yet, dangerous as fxxk!:p

Yup, I know what you mean. Back in the days as a technician we have the proper wall mount spring compressor with that wheel turns and compresses the spring slowly and safely. And we never use air tools when the strut assembly is loaded onto the wall mount compressor. Safety first!(y)
