Who needs a truck when you can do this?

wow... reminds me of the time someone was giving away their garden pond for free... FIlled my gen2 up with 1000 pounds of giant river rocks... Did alot of bottoming out on the way home. My garden has looked way more beautiful ever since!

 

Nice, the Prius never ceases to amaze me in what it can fit. We can fit our family of 4 with 9 days worth of luggage in the little old Prius-barely but we can do it.

I kind of chuckle when people say they need” a big vehicle/SUV for such a trip. I’m sure it’s more convenient yes, but not necessary if you pack and plan right.

 

I've carried full-height fridge freezers, replacement VW engines (not for *my* cars!) and many other things - these cars are awesome for shifting objects. I bought a nice business desk, and the guy was shocked when I arrived in a Prius, and the entire thing fitted without an issue

 

This is in my gen 2, the bottom ladder will extend to 16’. The passenger seat is all the way forward to accommodate it. Luckily I normally just need to have the orange 6’ ladder and if you place it in the car with the feet first, opposite the way it is in the picture, you can have the passenger seat back far enough that it is comfortable for a person that is 6’1 or taller to sit in the front passenger seat.

 

That's a load! Wouldn't want to get in an accident with that behind me, but I'm sure you were taking lots of precautions.

A couple weeks ago, my Prime swallowed whole a 21" mower in the box and wanted more. My wife didn't think it would fit.

 

Good Rural Carrier vehicle too. Prius V Wagon will definitely be my next mail hauler though. She's awfully pressed for space these days.

This is a mower! Now powered by a repurposed Hymotion A123 LiFePO4 battery pack.

 

nice work... wish there was a PTO option and pics of a dozen different PTO attachments in operation...

 

That would have being better.

Are the suspension systems I'm your car still the stock ones that came with the car, what?
If they are, then they are absolutely reliable and durable.

 

Do a Google search for a GE Elec-Trak. It had all the options you could think of.

Cool! They had an electric rider when I got my push mower. But I'd have had no place to keep it and very nearly no room to turn it around in my itty bitty yard.

That snowplow was so brilliant, you should have made a mower attachment for your Prius.

 

A few years ago I was finishing the basement of our house, and needed a door for a room. The guy at the building supply place asked "Where's your truck?" My reply: "Don't need one - I've got a Prius."
