I have a Problem with my Prius 3, 2010. Sometimes difficult start- Navigation vanish and Motor cannot be started so I have to use emergency start. Sometimes no Problem.
I let it twice chek up in car Service but nothing was found. I was advised to buy a new battery but it is still good (also checked).
    Can anyone help me.

Your 12 volt battery is 9 years old? It should be replaced. It is time.

You need a new 12v auxiliary battery. When you have a car that won’t start on its own but starts with a boost/jump it can only be 1 of 2 things. Either the alternator isn’t charging the battery or the battery can’t hold the charge the alternator is giving it. In the Prius platform, its always the battery that has failed. There is no alternator.

$150-200 for a battery in NOT that expensive. And for the Prius, it's 5+ years.
For my van, I paid $100+ for a 4 year battery.
