I also talked to Toyota 3 times to tell them that there was a bug that would not let anybody get Eco Status Gold, but never got anything close to a satisfactory response. But after April 8th Entune app update and a full month of May data, my wife’s Prime is finally getting Eco Status Gold. I checked my data and my family has been driving for gold for 14 years on our stable of Prius (3 that got Eco Dashboard), and now we get the Gold.

    Good work!

Now that we have Gold, it reminds me of a line from Forrest Gump . . . . :p:D He ran for 3 years, 2 months, 14 days, and 16 hours, and decided to stop. It's fitting that we've been trying for Gold for years as well and now due to a bug fix, viola!;) Not to minimize what it still takes to get Gold.

Here’s a question regarding keeping the blue line visible while driving as eco friendly as possible. When heading to work in the mornings, I get up to the speed limit of 35 mph and score a 98 on acceleration then let off a bit to hold the speed limit. Within a few seconds the blue line disappears completely. Then my eco score takes a big dive. To get the blue line back, I have to slow down until it slowly comes back up. Don’t want to do that of course if traffic is behind me. So, how do I keep the blue line from disappearing? Thx, Ben

After a long, cold winter and several months of longer road trips, I'm finally back in the sheep game. Got my best scores ever! Of course, it's only the 12th of June...

The blue line remains a mystery to me. I used to think it had to do with grade, but I am often left with little to no blue line when climbing a hill. Needless to say, if I followed the eco guide in this case, I'd never make it up to the top!

OK, this thread is getting sleepy so let's shake it up a bit. I meant to post this unedited pic earlier but forgot. April and May were terrible, but June was much better. Note the ECO scores.

Stellar! I've never achieved 100/100 for a whole day. I think it happened only once on my way to work.

How the heck are you able to keep your eco scores at a 100 day after day. WOW

580.2 miles on mostly surface type streets EV only and NO A/C. Yes, that's with temps @ 95° - 99° with dew points in the mid 70's. That's Costa Rica rain forest weather.

Concentration and a concerted effort to see if I could. ;)

I'm at 450.28 miles this month and not doing as well.

    So 20 miles a day:).

    No AC:eek:.

Some arbitrary score isn’t worth that sacrifice ;).

I’ll live with the on dash eco score of 80-85 and AC use(y).

Some of us climb mountains because they're there, other veg out under the A/C. :p Been a beta tester, war driver, pusher of limits for decades. It's a challenge. Keeps life interesting and me alive.

Nah, I hate hail damage. We just walk out in the yard to see if it's coming down our street or not. :D

Today I finally achieved ECO Status GOLD. Wo hooo. That's the good part.

I wanted to add screen caps here only to learn that in Toyota's infinite wisdom, they disabled the ability to do screen captures in the most recent Entune App Version 1.28.800.49 version. (Can't take screenshot due to security policy message) So screw them. I took pics with my DSLR and that's why these images look strange.

The conspiracy theory folks can run with the timing on my reaching GOLD and not being able to take a screen cap inside their app at the same time. LOL. Yes, I can screen cap other apps except banking apps.

{{{applause}}} Congratulations! That is a wonderful and amazing achievement to which we mere mortals can only hope to aspire.

It makes it even sadder that these mobile apps have been deprecated in the new Prime. They've helped many of us learn to use the Prime efficiently and probably generated a wealth of data for Toyota to use in future engineering and marketing.

Thank you! I also have to recognize @Chazz8 for doing background work (post #823) with Toyota support to fix their code to achieve Gold status. I've been driving the same way for two years and if the code would have been good, a lot of us would have had Gold a lot sooner.

I've seen other apps remove the screen print ability in the name of security but I see no good reason to do it in this app. I agree with you, this app provides a fun way to be more efficient. Too bad Toyota can't get out of their own way these days.
