Are these wheels genuine OEM or after-market?

    I bought this CPO 2014 Toyota Prius 3 about 18 months ago. Recently, I hit a pothole and damaged a rim. Since I only need to replace one wheel, I spoke to a Toyota parts manager and was told that this is a Toyota rim from either a Toyota Persona or Prime. I've not been able to find images of it anywhere that I've looked and suspect that it is aftermarket. Can anyone confirm one way or another and maybe point me to the manufacturer? It's the P emblem in the wheel center cap that has me stumped. If it was a Toyota wheel, I would think that it would be a Toyota emblem. I don't think the Toyota parts guy knows his stuff. 66367110-6F3A-4EB7-8DB3-284D4907DA54.jpeg

    It looks like the wheels that the GST or SET dealers put on quite a number of Gen 3 Prii back in the day. They didn’t like the 15” alloys with wheel covers so they swapped it out with aftermarket rims.

    Good story, but it raises more questions, like, what are GST and SET dealers, what model(s) and years were affected, did they stay with 15" for the new wheels, and where did all the original wheels and wheel covers go?

    GST = Gulf States Toyota region
    SET = Southeast Toyota region

    GST includes AR, LA, TX, MS, OK
    SET includes NC, SC, GA, AL, FL

    2010-2011 for sure. They could’ve done it for all years of the Gen 3 (the OP has a 2014).

    No idea what happened to the OEM wheels. Maybe it was swapped at port? Maybe it was swapped at the dealer when they did the PDI. They work semi-independently from Toyota USA.
