Two weeks ago I had the Cat stolen from my car outside work. Took the car to my local garage where they fitted a replacement and O2 sensor. I picked the car up yesterday and all the warning lights were on. They suggested driving it to see if they reset themselves. They didn't and today the car became very sluggish so took the car back in where it displayed 3 fault codes. P0505, P0A80 and P3023. I've been on Google and seen what the faults are and it's clearly a HV battery issue but could it be linked to the fact that the Cat was stolen or is it just coincidence? I'm wary to take it to the main dealer as I don't want to shell out more money if it's not worth it.

    welcome!
these coincidences often happen when service work is being performed.

if you don't diy, and don't know anyone who can take a look inside the battery, and don't want to buy a new one, i would say it's time to move on.

it might be worth your while to post in the big london stolen cat thread, to see if anyone knows some good battery people.

    all the best!(y)

The most ideal situation is that the HV battery was over-discharged during the repair process and recharging & balancing the pack is all that's needs via a grid charging system like Prolong Prolong Battery Systems. Extending the life of your hybrid. — Hybrid Automotive Of course in the UK, I suspect you can't can't get that product so you might want to message @Britprius and see what he says is your best option. Or, you could use a small charger designed to charge NiMH batteries commonly used in remote control toys to charge up each of the individual 28 modules.

Main point is the people you took your car to, didn't finish the job and it's their responsibility to resolve it, but the more help and information you can give them the better so you're both working together.
