Frustrated By Multimedia System

    Yeah but there are still some weird choices....

    e.g. when I choose the album to browse the current playlist, why does it always start from the beginning of the list? Why doesn't it start at where my current song is playing? (i.e. if I'm playing song #100, why does it start at song #1 instead of song #100? It's hard to see what the upcoming songs is/are. That's all I wanna check).

    or the fact that the scroll buttons are so small

    or the fact that it starts playing the first song when you browse the tabs (by artist, album, playlist etc)

    e.g. when you browse by genre (this is when the car is stopped), because it's designed to play the first song, there's a significant lag when I try to navigate within the folders... every level you go down, it tries to play the first song so I end up waiting 30-40 secs if I'm 3 levels deep before it plays the song I want.

    I'm reminded of the proof of concept projects we had to do in college. It didn't have to work well, just do enough so the teacher could see where you were going with it. The assumption, of course, being you would polish it before going gold.

    Is there any hope we are getting Android Auto? Or even CarPlay?

    Looks to me like it will work. Load some FLAC songs on a USB stick and give it a try.
