Out on a Sunday morning walk a couple hours ago. We're just a few blocks away from home. She who must be obeyed says, "Look!!" LOL. Yes, it wasn't me .... but her. Surprise surprise.

I said, wait . . . . I'm supposed to be the car noticer ... how'd that happen? She says, "it's one of my favorite colors. SWMBO is 5'-7" so you can see the little SUV is far from HUGE. Still - it looks like deliveries are starting, at least here in South OC - So Cal.

You guys need to catch up! I’ve already seen 4 (no reds yet. They’ve been grey or that light blue colour)

Read a couple articles, and watched a couple YouTube videos between the Kia Niro & Hyundai Kona. Even though they are very similar, it seems they built the Nero to be much more high-end. Maybe I'm the last one in the universe to know that, but the Kona's similar EV cousin the Niro does come with lots of stuff, including some of my favorites, heated / ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and best of all (albeit a $1,000 option) a heat pump, so that when you warm the car, you use way less energy. One of the videos even commented that its heat pump will allow it to go miles further then the model 3 + in freezing temperatures .... provided you have a convenient SAE DC QC or j1772 nearby.

Yup and in Canada, it is more expensive than the Kona. It is larger (compact vs. subcompact for the Kona) and you sit higher up (like a Matrix or Outback height)

I don't call this class of vehicles 'small SUVs'...I call them 'large hatchbacks'. :D It is amusing to me how small some of these crossover vehicles are. Heck, my wife's hatchback seems to have just as much room as some of the crossovers...(y)

And I really think Toyota made a mistake not offering wagon models....the popularity of Subaru wagons around here bears that out. There are TOOOONNNNS of Subies around here!
