Ty sir it may be shorted remember this car was hail damaged and had a plexi glass leaking rear window. That might be why it showed up then went away I'll be sure to look at it tomorrow. While I was in the trunk I've already re modified the ground wire for the auxiliary battery for a better grounded connection as it was corroded and the ground connection on the painted surface from factory is a horrible design flaw

Speaking of design flaws, why use a plug for dozens of wires for only 4 wires? Elon Musk has talked about how car wiring is an incredibly wasteful part of manufacturing, especially for him because he thought he could use robots instead of humans to move wires and wires don't play nice with robots. His solution... He's going to eliminate most all of the wires by having the car parts built with embedded circuit boards that minimizes the distance the electrons have to travel. So instead of wiring up a door on the assembly line, you just plug the door in and bolt it down and you're done. Many miles of wasteful wire in every vehicle will no longer be needed in the future.

So I got the HV system in order on my little work/repair car drove it 20 miles no dtc except for an occasional check engine light flashing P0301 and loss of power engine rattle but that was to be expected as the car has been parked well over a year so now I'm going to pull the windshield tray. And remove airbox, throttle body, egr, pcv, plugs, and coils and give her the full on cleaning/ tune up while changing all the fluids Before replacing the quarter glass, rear glass, tires and loading it down with my tools.

After replacing all the fluids, draining the gas, new plugs, filters, coil packs, and cleaning the throttle body intake and egr components she runs like a top. Averaging 52mpg. Now for new tires and a few pieces of glass.

What kind of tires you gonna get? I had a good experience with simpletire.com bought some Ecopia's from them on Black Friday in 2017 for a stagggering low price of $68 each and free shipping... Found a local tire shop that would mount & balance for a $20 bill if I just brought the wheel in and not the car. So over the course of a year, I put the spare donut wheel on 4 different times as each tire got worn out as much as possible. What was great about this is it allowed me to take my time and replace the tires in a way that maximized use of the tread of previous tires. it was by far the least expensive tire replacement experience I've enjoyed.

I dont know yet but the beauty of having a full garage is I can mount and balance my own tires there and have them delivered wholesale. With winter coming ( if it ever does 98° here today) I'm probably going to get some all seasons by cooper

The cooper CS5 touring tires are great we have them on my Cherokee my wife's dart gt and my daughter's fusion hybrid. I'm also running coopers on my diesel truck
