    their fake excuse? oh ... we don't like hatchbacks. Who knew .... guess the prime & prius buyers must really loath their selfs for buying hatchbacks.

    And what does Toyota call the Prius on the window sticker? My gen2 was a sedan, and it was more hatchy than the current model. Now that hatchbacks are more popular than sedans in the US, that may change. The sad fact is that the crossoverish version of the ID 3 will sell better in the US.

    Maybe the US isn't the first to get their new EV because we aren't the first market for EVs. We aren't even the second. That would be China and Europe. Mitsubishi had no problem selling all the Outlander PHEVs they could make for years, without the US.

    Releasing new models in your hometown first is kind of the norm. Then the BEV factory outside Shanghai, and renovations to their Tennessee plant aren't finished.
