Being too lazy at the moment to pull off a wheel cover I am wondering if anyone has a picture of the bardOE wheels on a 2020 Prime Limited. On my 2010 gen 3 the wheels looked much better without the wheel covers.
    thanks

The 4th Gen rims, including prime rims, are almost identical to 3rd gen. You would need to see them side-by-side to discern difference.

I really like the stock 17s that were offered with the 2010. They fill out the wheel well

I wonder what country that pic was taken, maybe Britain (license plate a give away)? It's a dead-ringer for ours, but looks like there's a proximity sensor in the front bumper, beside the "fog" light.

It's an Italian plate. The sensor is one of the front parking sensors.

Yea, my parking sensors are further back on the sides of the bumper, but mines also a 2010, not sure if they moved in later years

Italy. The EU plate has an ā€œIā€ country identifier.
those are aftermarket parking sensors. The one on your car is factory and is for the Intelligent Parking Assist.

Yeah we looked back and forth, between 15" clunky plastic covers, and our 2010 (CDN) Touring:

The wheels stayed the same right through to 2015, as far as I know.

The 17" wheels on the new Corolla are quite good as well. Perhaps they fit on the older Prius.

2012 through 2015 Plug-In Prius rims (15") look nice too, if you can find a set.

I'm too lazy too but have already tired of the clunky wheel covers. I found a link but can't post because I'm too new. Here's the photo:

If this is indeed what they look like, I think I will pull the covers off. Any idea what the aerodynamic value of the covers provides?

Also, where might I find center caps that fit?

Thanks for posting, @evpv. I just ordered my caps today. It takes some time to get used to the small size of the wheels for me. The earlier Priui integrated the wheel cover into the alloy wheel much better.

I'm currently in the market for a 2020 Prius Prime Limited... Toyota's site lists the whee's as 5 Spoke, unlike what @evpv show's above in his photo above for his 2017. @Stevarino can you confirm your 2020 has 5 Spokes? OR even though the 2017 shows 10 spokes, are they still considering it as GROUPS of 2 (making it 5) ha ha :)...

I simply can't seem to find any photos of the 2020.

Although, I may still switch them out for 17" the regular 2020 Toyota Prius has an OPTION to have 17" rims and I like the look better.

We have a 2010 Toyota Prius (trim level 5) that came with 17" alloy rims. And again, I like the look better.

Yeah that's considered 5-spokes (twin-spoke design with "5" sets of twins). I don't make the rules.

The 17" alloys on the regular 2020 Prius Limited will also fit since it's the same car, if you want a factory look. (It's available as an option in Japan. The reason it's not offered here is because they want to hit the 25 mile range and 54mpg number).

Does anyone know how much the Prius five wheels weigh?

These are Subaru Legacy GT wheels, which weigh under 21 pounds for 17 inch wheels. PhotoGrid_1581003693857.jpeg

I think around 24 pounds apiece, for the 3rd gen's. IIRC I did weigh one of ours, with tire installed, then subtracted the tire weight.

3rd gen 17" rims look chunkier, the spokes in particular.

    Hey @xliderider
I found same wheels in my city from a Subaru Legacy mk4 and i plan to buy them for my Prius 2012.
They are listed for about 200 dolars (US) and i really like the model.
    Can you confirm the specs? 17 / 7J / ET 55 / 56.1 central bore / 5*100
    Did you use hubcentric rings?
How is the suspension/brake clearing? Do i need spacers?
What type of wheel nuts do i need?
Sorry for the avalanche of questions, but i want to take them this weekend, before somebody else buys them.
    Thanks
