Must admit I've never used this feature. Still like backing in myself.

Intelligent Parking Assist has come a long way since it’s original iteration in my 2008 Prius Tspirit (UK).

I can only see a Prius Prime as my next Prius. Alas, they don’t sell the version with the 11 inch screen here .
    I wonder why?

The next gen Yaris has the next generation IPA after the Prime. It doesn’t require driver input on the pedals - just shifting between D and R. (Prime requires pedal input but the system rock the car back and forth in a parallel parking by requesting the driver to switch between D and R)

I have tried it twice so far just for testing.. those were the scariest and crappest parking job I have ever seen. First time it nearly took out a Tesla parked next to me (my fault for going too fast).. 2nd time it was way off center.

i don't understand why it isn't perfectly centered with good paint lines like that. i can do a better job just looking in the rear camera

You mean the paint lines in the rear view camera is not centered? I sure hope that is the case, because every time I park using only the camera, I end up way to the right...

FWIW, apparently only available on the top trim package (LE?) I have the 2020 XLE and it's not included.
