    Folks,

Had to go down for a new set of winters; sprung for Continental Winter Contact Si (40% discount helped :) )

Went from the 195s I run in the summer to the 185s as standard on the car so I could use the original rims.

In one word: amazing. 2005 Prius, 285k km, daily driven. Original suspension except for rear shocks/coils.

Car drives like a dream; tires are super quiet on dry pavement. Exceptional handling in the rain.

First set was Nokian WR; good down to -15C...then useless.

Next was a set of Hankook IPike; noisy!!! Worn shocks caused them the wear out unevenly...only got 3 seasons from them.

Next were Toyo Observe; last forever, but noisy and the last two winters were terrifying.

The Continentals are a class above; so much so, I will be replacing the summers (currently running el cheapo AWII Motomaster) with Continental.

Makes a 15 year old car feel brand new.

    FH

We'll find out in a couple of months :(

Love Canada; the weather, not so much.
