Hello again, this time I was wondering if it is a necessity that the engine oil tank should be filled up completely?

What is the engine oil tank exactly?

Do you mean the engine oil, inside of the engine?

This was already hashed out in another one of your threads a couple of years ago : Engine oil level | PriusChat

There's no such thing as an engine oil tank... There is oil in the engine crankcase and there is transmission fluid in the transaxle and maybe you just asked the question wrong, but... There's so much wrong with this question in so many ways, maybe this is just a spam robot making the comment?

    made my day
I have seen this happened but another person caught it on time before the guy started driving

Now seriously, GeorgeMW, you do not fill this up all the way like a windshield washer fluid for example. If you change oil yourself l, which i doubt, you put 3.6-3.8 qts
If your oil level is on minimum or under minimum immediately add until it reaches the top dot mark . Ideally just a little under it according to some geeks here. From bottom mark to top mark is 1qt i think.
Check your oil levek when car has been off for like atleast 30 mins. If it burns oil which is normal check it every day and you can figure the rate that the oil dissapears. Mine burns like a qt every oil change 4k miles. So i check it once a week. If yours burns like a crazy atleast you will know. Because someone could see the oil is under the bottom mark but has done lets say 5k miles and thinking the engine is oil guzzler.
    Good luck
