Interesting, I didn't know that Toyota had made a RAV4 EV. Too ahead of it's time, maybe?

Watch those numbers plummet for Jan of next year when California phases out it's rebates. They're going to need another refresh and soon in order to qualify .

Notice that with the exception of Chicago, the other places are outside of TMNA's (formerly TMS USA) jurisdiction? They're under SET and GST (Southeast Toyota and Gulf State Toyota respectively). They're responsible for the import of Toyotas in those states.

HA! I he even quoted me. I'm famous. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

But, from what I see here on PC, there are plenty of Primes in stock in several places. It seems to me like, if SET and GST would pull their heads out of their nether regions, we could get a more even distribution. With the tons of Teslas and other EVs I see here in my area, I think there are lots of people who might like the versatility of the Prime.

take those two entities out of the equation, and what percentage of states are carrying a decent amount of stock?
i still contend that prime is a compliance car

Toyota made one during the EV1 era, and stopped with everyone else when that ZEV mandate ended. A few of those are still on the road.

The second Rav4 EV was another compliance car for the current ZEV program. It was a conversion by Tesla, and when the order for a few thousand(3000 at most, IIRC) was filled, Toyota opted to let the partnership with Tesla end. They had the Mirai coming out.

I saw one of the old RAV4 EVs plugged in when we went to Estes Park, CO this May. Didn't know what it was at the time, so I think it was @Tideland Prius who clued me in.
