Cargo liner with lip?

    Looking at purchasing a better cargo liner than the OEM Toyota "all-weather" one that came with the car. (message if you're interested in buying)

    I can't find a good picture of the Weathertech one
    Their website is zero help:

    Which makes it look like the lip is reduced or missing completely from the rear section. Is that right?
    Does anyone have one and could you please provide some better photos?

    We also do not have a Husky liner option for the cargo area and the Canvasback has no lip. We want to protect the battery area from wet items (SCUBA gear, etc).

    bump - does no one own a Weathertech cargo liner in a Prime? Seems strange - any help appreciated!

    (Tried emailing WT - we'll see how that goes...)

    edit - they responded with a photo (and looks like they edited/clarified their webpage with same photo) - it definitely drops down at the rear. Likely due to how the Prime's battery is elevated above the cargo floor / opening. Makes sense I guess. I was hoping for a better "bathtub" style design to contain water if needed, from surfing/diving gear. Not sure the WT is much better than the OEM for this.

    Interesting. It still has some cut-out areas of lower "lip" and the $75 s/h definitely says "no".
    I'm just mainly thinking of how much we need to worry about damp items and the battery. I'm sure in reality, we won't have an issue using the standard OEM all weather one.

    The battery is towards the rear seat. The trunk lid is where the storage bin is located. Also, the battery is on stilts so any liquid that does drip in won’t touch the battery.

    I purchased the WT rear cargo liner this past summer. Fits well, and I'm not worried about the lower height of the lip at the back. One additional advantage with WT is no plastic smell whatsoever.

    I debated the custom vs universal cargo liners from Weathertech. Was worried that the raised lip on the custom liner would get in the way when loading things with the rear seats folded. Was also worried that the rigid liner would make it hard to access the charger cable compartment underneath.

    I decided to go with the universal one. It took a bit of patience and careful cutting to install. Material is good quality but price wasn't cheap either! Still less expensive than the custom liner. So far I don't regret the decision.
