    Hello,

I have 08’ Prius with 190k mileage. Lately when I turn on my car the dash lights won’t turn on. The engine works but just not the light. So I watched a YouTube video and turned the car off and turned it on without the pedal. Then I turned the light on and off couple times before I started the engine and the lights comes back on. It happened a month ago and it happened the second time. I’m not sure if I should be concerned about it or what kind of issue is it?

You have a problem with the instrument cluster. It will be intermittent for a while until you replace it.

Cheapest way is to buy one with similar mileage on eBay by looking up "2008 Toyota Prius Instrument Cluster" and paying a mechanic the 1 hour labor it costs to remove/replace.
