    Hi every one,

Just used Dr Prius on my traction battery and am looking for acceptable variances on the results.
This is a 2012 Gen 3 Prius ( that I have owned seen new) up in the great white north in Ontario Canada with 521K km on the original traction battery.Have not been able to find any specs on what is acceptable. Car is running great . Drove 77K km last year with a year end average of 5.0 L/100 most of the time with several people in the car.
My voltage variance across the 14 blocks was only .05 volts with the lowers being 16.09 volts and the highest 16.14 volt . The internal resistance on 3 blocks were 25 m ohms and all the rest were 24 m ohms.
I have an electronic back ground and to me these results look excellent but would love to hear from others who may have more experience in this .
Tomorrow i will run the load test on the car .

Thanks in advance for your input
    Charlie

521K km, quite the impressive run you've had.

Any thoughts on balancing the battery, or cleaning the EGR circuit?

Is that just the static test? That's all I've done. There are two "dynamic" tests that can be done, one done with the car on, just idling with some loads. The other an accel/decel test.

Have not cleaned or changed EGR . Did change PCV at 395K KM .
Do not think the battery needs re-balancing yet

It will be the two tests on the DR Prius paid program . so it looks both dynamic and static .Full battery test (accel/decel ) test and ,live expectancy test.
    Will post results when done.

Many might consider it prudent to take the whole EGR circuit apart for a proper cleaning, especially at 521k km.
With over 323k miles (521k km), now would be a good time for a proper balancing.
Curious which brand/flavor of 0-5 synth you've been using since new?

I'm a little gobsmacked, actually. And it would be interesting to see some pics of the EGR inside, ditto for the intake manifold.

Question. Is Dr Prius compatible with gen 4 vehicles with the Li-ion battery (ZVW51 Li-ion, 3.6 Ah, 207.2 V)?

Not sure, you can look at the supported vehicle list or ask the developer @jacktheripper directly.

Could also try asking in the Gen4 forum, or in the appropriate forum here : Prius OBDII Third-Party Apps | PriusChat

    Hi every one,
Thanks for all the inputs .
A lot of you are asking about the EGR system
What are the signs of a dirty EGR and why is it not in the service schedule?. my gas mileage is only slightly less than when the car was new so i am just curious.

No one wants to pay for an extra maintenance service if known up front or revealed. Same for emptying an OCC, the typical American won’t open the hood so why would they bother emptying it when they have season 5 ready to binge watch on Netflix.
