OK, so opened the box. The bars are HUGE! That and they say everything is for a Scion XB. Because I realize there can be some crossover between the two brands I am going to attempt to install today (with the stock end links. Will order Whiteline units once I take measurements at install).

I'll do my best to document the process.

Happy Winter Solstice, everyone. Love & light.

That would be pretty cool to know that parts for a Scion XB can be fitted to the Prius v. Please keep us updated! Thanks!

    UPDATE!!!

SO, first off for those that don't know, there are no end links or pre-existing rear anti-sway bar at the rear of the v wagon. There are holes for the end links, out-board the shock/spring base (I believe they are 10mm stud holes, 17mm nuts). So if you are "upgrading" the rear anti-sway bar on your v ... you are actually installing a new (where there was not one before) or adding an anti-sway bar. If you did not order an anti-sway "kit", that would come with end links, you will have to find/provide your own. Moog has some shorties that are for an Acura that work and those (there are 2, one for the passenger side and one for the drivers. Both different angled ends) are Moog parts #K90341 (drivers) and #K90340 (passenger).

The front end is a completely different set of challenges. As we tear further into this I will post the best pics I can and any info or recommendations I can add. But, our (my son and I) first attempt to replace the front anti-sway left us wondering "Just how much of the front suspension will we have to drop in order to remove the old and install the new." IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON THIS PROCEDURE PLEASE POST OR LINK IT HERE, THANK YOU!

Until I have time to work on this again, Happy New Year!

Love & light to you all.

And the TRD bar is pretty meaty.

Yes(ish), and also wanted to install, document and review something that had not yet been done ... for the good of the group. ;)

... and the Hotchkis is even "meatier"! It is designed for the Xb, of which I believe is heavier than the v. It is pretty monster. :)

ANYBODY HAVE ANY INFO ON PROCEDURES OF REMOVAL/INSTALL OF FRONT SWAY ON THE V???

    Let me know.

    WRONG!

Prius v weighs almost 300 lbs more than the Xb ...

    Who'da thunk'it.

FYI the TRD rear bar is 7/8” diameter.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these these two rear swaybars? One is TRD(PTR1152091) and the other one is Prius Plus(PTR1147010). I just purchased a 2014 Prius v and want to start modding it.

Looks like PTR1152091 is for a Scion XB.

PTR1147010 is the one a few of us have installed on our Prius V wagons. Thread here:

Did you ever install the Scion rear sway bar? What diameter is it?

Hotchkiss Front and rear sways installed!

Also installed new KYB front struts and rear shocks with Tanabe DF210 spring set.

Handles GREAT in the turns! No roll. However, front end is SUPER noisy! Lots of creaks and clunks and ride is remarkably stiff (from what I've read that has not necessarily been the case for others). wondering what I may have dove incorrectly to get this outcome?

Creaks..... could be some specific suspension bushing/ rubber lubrication is needed and will cure.

Clunking... that is concerning. Bottoming out or loose bolts or alignment of the sway bar or tire hitting the chassis/ body would be my leads, but that is a guess.

Let us know if you find the issue/ cures.
