I'm guessing it's detail code 2 at 259? Can anyone make sense of this data?

OK, another interesting bit of data. I cleared the code, left techstream hooked up, and just left the car sitting in the driveway for 20 minutes with the power turned on.

After I came back out, the code was back, and I never even drove the car. This leads me to believe it's a wiring or sensor problem rather than an actual overtemp.

Can anyone confirm that the connector is the one labeled Motor Temperature Sensor 1 / Motor temperature Sensor 2 in this pic? Is that the right one?

Do any of the available screens show the temperatures for MG1 or MG2, as that is part of the detailed workup for P0A39.

SFO, I don't think so. This is the output from the last time it popped the code: upload_2020-1-31_17-13-27.png

Maybe this post by @Elektroingenieur can help identify the location and current naming convention in Techstream :

    Mg1/mg2 renamed? | PriusChat

It looks like you've found the motor temp sensor 1/2 connector, though I've never touched it personally and cannot confirm.

Well... 136' F coolant temp is a bit high if you just started the car up? Or had you been driving it for a while? But this freeze frame doesn't give info about "Generator Temperature Data" Hmmm.... Can you look around in Techstream for more info?

Might not take that long, as parts of FL are reaching 90 already. Not sure if that's a record for this time of the year.

You need to use Techstream and get to get into the live data (data list) for the HV ECU then look for a data item called (or very close to) MOTOR 2 TEMP

This should get you to the point of completing steps (d) and (e) right at the beginning of the diagnostic.

    INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1 READ VALUE OF HAND–HELD TESTER (MOTOR 2 TEMP)

    (a) Connect the hand–held tester test cable to the DLC3 and the diagnostic computer with Techstream.
    (b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    (c) Turn the hand–held tester ON Start up Techstream and select your vehicle.
    (d) On the hand–held tester Techstream, enter the following menus: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / Double-click on HV ECU from the System Selection Menu screen. This should open the LIVE DATA (DATA LIST) in a new tab.
    (e) Read the MOTOR 2 TEMP value on the hand–held tester on the Live Data tab in Techstream.

My apologies if the above isn't completely accurate, I am doing it from memory, but I hope it is close enough to get you going in the right direction.

At least I hope this helps, even just a little bit.
