Can you tell me what smart key code you have? I can't see in this thread where you mention a smart key code.

They fixed my ac for 250$ dollars and fixed put air in my tire for free. They said the smart key is a fault code only and doesn’t matter. They said the wires snapped blowing the cooled air, it would only blow heat.

Thanks but the p0099 came on About 40 minutes ago when I was on my way to shoppers to get groceries which is 4.4 miles away from my house. Can you tell what could be wrong?

no, you need to look it up in the service manual, and then it tells you how to fix it

If the hybrid battery is bad call the dealer.

Could it be the free air was bad?

For the p0099 take the OBD2 code reader back for exchange, and buy the Hybrid compatible scanner.

Hope they gave a warranty for that $250, or was it 30 seconds / 30 feet, whatever gets you farther?

toyota doesn't recommend repairing the hybrid battery, just replacement.

you can get a new one for $1,600.

Ok so it was a wire that was too tight so that fixed it and didn’t charge me a nickel.
