Can you access the 2020 Prime's cameras from home ?

    I believe the appropriate way to do this is to add your own camera/mic/data access & transmission hardware to the car without actually connecting to the car's systems beyond power.

    Giving an already-onboard camera or mic a second job sounds efficient but it's just too much of a risk in my book. That stuff is cheap and easy to put in twice.

    Thanks but this was not anything I was originally trying to do before I heard that episode of that podcast in the original first post, the thread was simply an inquiry to see if any Prius owners had been able to do what the host in that podcast mentioned. If not, that's fine, I was simply curious after hearing the comment in that podcast which indicated cars with Alexa could already do that without any modding or hacking.
