    Hi guys,

mom from the uk I am wanting to swap my headlight bulbs and rear bulbs.

looking for recommendations I want all of them to be plug and play simple swap no wiring etc but I want something that gives off good light and bright.

I also want to do my rear lights so my break lights and sidelights if that makes sense not bothered for changing indicators. Again I want these to be bright and straight swaps.

Can you post your recommendations and links if possible.

    thank you

led bulbs are the way to go with everything but the headlights for plug n play, but you need to buy quality leds. the cheap ones either strobe or just quit after a short time. the rear brake bulbs are already led unless European lights are different than NA cars. some good fog bulbs will help to make up for the weak headlights, but apparently brighter headlight bulbs don't last as long, and changing the lh bulb is a definite PITA.

What would you recommend for plug and play for the front lights

Uh, my 2008 base DOES NOT have LED brake lights and I got it new from the dealer. It does have LED reverse, since I just replaced the originals with LED from EBAY:

JDM ASTAR 2x 54-SMD 7443 7440 White LED Turn Signal Backup Reverse Lights Bulbs | eBay

JDM-ASTAR sells much on EBAY as well as on their corporate site. If you buy on EBAY you get great prices. Buying from their Web site, you pay higher prices, but they have a rep for helping you out with selection, etc.

Don't know. Only bought from EBAY and not so personalized on selection. On EBAY, they claim the above lights don't fit the Prius. But, they work for me.Anyway, superfast shipping from EBAY and even on EBAY they seem to go above and beyond to address problems. Of course, there are other makers...and I am sure they are good also. But so far, I like my reverse lights very much.

xenon is better, but the bulbs are expensive. there's a voltage converter on the xenon headlight so I don't know if its even possible to upgrade xenon, and the converter is probably expensive too so I don't think I'd want to take a chance of damaging it by changing the bulbs to something different than oem.
cyber, I think you are mistaken, but maybe some of them didn't come with led brake lights? all 3 of mine do have led.
